Editing Lease Renewal Email Templates

Editing Lease Renewal Email Templates

All email Templates can be found in the Communication, Templates section.

Double click on the email you would like to edit so that it opens like the below.

If you would like to change who the email is coming from, use the From dropdown and select from any of the options.

Who the email is To is set in the template – this cannot be altered.

You can change the subject of the email to anything you like. The data inside the [[ ]] is a merge field. To enter a merge field, use the field chooser on the left-hand side and click through to find the appropriate field. Once you have found the field, double click on it to add it to your email.

Note:
1. You can copy and paste the merge field [[merge field]] if you would like to use it in other areas.
2. There is a space automatically added to the front of the merge field once it is merged.

Make sure you are on the edit tab and then you can edit your template just like a normal document.

Each template contains the URL merge field for the lease renewal process [[LeaseRenewal.OwnerLink]] or [[LeaseRenewal.TenantLink]]. DO NOT delete these links.

You can send yourself a preview of the email by going into the preview tab and entering your email address in the To: field and then clicking Send Preview Email.

There is a status in the top right corner of the template – once it is set to Active it will be ready to use.

Any alterations to the template are automatically saved – there is no save button or need to press save.
