myCinsh Mobile/Web Application: User Guide

The myCinsh application provides employees with secure online access to key payroll, leave, timesheet, expense, and commission information. Features available depend on your organisation's configuration.

Available Features

  • View Payslips
  • Submit Leave Requests
  • View Leave Booking History
  • View Commission Statements
  • View Unsettled (Pending/Projected) Commission
  • Submit Timesheets (only if enabled by your organisation)
  • Submit Expenses (only if enabled by your organisation)

myCinsh is designed for easy use:

  • Click large buttons on the main dashboard for quick access
  • Or tap the hamburger menu (≡) in the top corner to open the full menu
  • Need help? Click the question mark (?) icon in the bottom-right corner at any time to:
    • Access this knowledge base
    • Log a support request

Feature Details

New Leave Booking

  1. Click New Leave Booking → the leave request form appears
  2. Select Leave Type (e.g. Annual, Personal/Sick, etc.)
  3. Choose Start Date and End Date
  4. (Optional) Attach supporting documents (e.g. medical certificate)
  5. Click Save and Close or Save and New (to add another request)



Important notes:
  • Submit separate requests for different leave types (e.g. one for Annual, another for Personal)
  • The request is automatically sent to your leave approver and synced to your organisation's payroll system
  • You will receive an email notification once approved or declined
  • You can edit or cancel booked leave until it has been paid
  • To review submitted requests → go to Leave History

New Expense Claim

(Visible only if your organisation has enabled expense claims)

  1. Click New Expense Claim → the expense form opens
  2. Select Payment Type (options defined by your payroll administrator)
  3. Enter the Date of the expense
  4. Enter the Amount (including GST if applicable)
  5. Click Add File to upload receipt(s) or supporting documents
  6. Click Save and Close or Save and New



New Timesheet

(Visible only if your organisation has enabled timesheets and you are required to complete)

  1. Click New Timesheet → the timesheet form opens
  2. Select the Date (or pay period) the timesheet covers
  3. Enter time worked using one of these methods:
    • Total hours worked, or
    • Start time and End time
  4. If using start/end times: Record any unpaid breaks
  5. (Optional) Add Notes
  6. For overtime hours:
    • Select the appropriate payment type
    • Start and end times are mandatory for payroll rate verification
  7. Click Save and Close or Save and New



After submission:
  • Sent to your timesheet approver and synced to the payroll system
  • You will receive an email when approved
  • Edit or amend timesheets until they have been paid
  • View/manage submitted timesheets → go to Timesheets section
    • Filter by pay period
    • Check approval/payment status
    • Use the pen icon to edit
    • Use bin icon to delete (before approval/payment)

Commission Statement

For employees receiving commissions:

  1. Click Commission Statement
  2. Select your desired date range (defaults to current month)
  3. Click Search
  • The first search may take a few seconds (live report)
  • View, print, or download as PDF

Unsettled Commission (Projected / Pending)

Shows expected upcoming commission payments not yet finalised/paid:

  1. Click Unsettled Commission
  2. View the projected amounts
  3. Print or download as PDF

Payslips

  1. Click Payslips
  2. Payslips appear with the most recent at the top
  3. Click the magnifying glass icon on any payslip to open it
  4. View details, then print or download as PDF

Payment History

Provides a summary of all payments received (salary, wages, commissions):

  1. Click Payment History
  2. Click the greater-than (>) symbol next to any entry to expand and view details

Manager/Approver Features

(Visible only if you are an approval manager)

Additional menu options appear for approving:

  • Time Sheet Approvals
  • Leave Approvals

Use these sections to review, approve, or decline pending requests from your team.

Leave Approval
  1. Select the radio buttons to approve or decline the leave.
  2. Viewing conflicts and editing or adding notes work the same as the email process outlined in the myCinsh Leave Approver Guide.

For Timesheet Approval
Use the radio button on the left hand side to select the time sheet you wish to approve. This will activate the approve and/or decline button. Click to approve or decline the timesheet
