What is the Bell icon for? Understanding REM Notifications for Transactional Emails

We're committed to enhancing your user experience by introducing new features that streamline your workflow. One such feature is the REM Notifications for Transactional Emails. In this knowledge-based article, we'll delve into what these notifications are and how they can benefit you.

1. What are REM Notifications for Transactional Emails?

You may have noticed a bell icon discreetly positioned on the bottom right-hand side of your screen within the REM software interface. This unobtrusive feature is your gateway to the world of REM Notifications for Transactional Emails. But what exactly does it do?

Transactional emails, such as owner statements, lease renewal notices, rent arrears reminders, rent receipts, owner and supplier remittances, are a vital part of your operations. However, sending these emails traditionally via Outlook or other email platforms can sometimes result in delivery challenges.

Our new transactional email alert is designed to bridge this gap. It empowers you to easily identify transactional emails that may not have been delivered successfully. By relying on this feature, you can significantly enhance your email communication efficiency.

2. Do I Need to Take Action?

These notifications are purely informative and are intended to provide you with valuable insights.
When you receive such a notification, it's an opportunity to cross-check and confirm the recipient's email address on file. To facilitate this process, we've incorporated two user-friendly buttons:

View Contact: By clicking on this button, you can access the Contact Card for the relevant recipient. This is a quick and convenient way to review contact details and ensure their accuracy.

View Email: Clicking on this button will take you directly to the email that was sent. You can verify the content, recipients, and any potential issues related to the email.

The best part? You don't need to worry about managing these notifications. They will be automatically deleted after 30 days, ensuring that your interface remains clutter-free and that you don't need to take any additional actions.
